Although we screen sellers to ensure only quality products and lots are listed, Easy Excess has no opportunity to inspect or test any item or lot. Therefore, we recommend that prospective buyers do their normal background/credit due diligence. We make an attempt to present quality and actual stock, by enforcing a picture policy on every listing. This allows potential buyers to see the physical part and condition, as well as it acts as a means to verify that the seller has stock, and the lot physically resides on the premises. Once a buyer is interested in a lot, we bring the parties together to do the transaction. The buyer can determine as to the sellers ability to complete the transaction with their own set of checks and procedures and information about the seller supplied by Easy Excess.

We also have a rating system for sellers and buyers, and our support staff is manned by personnel trained to spot fraud and intervene if necessary.

Most sellers are OEMS and distributors who request payment in advance of shipping. Most of the transactions we process are business to business and the deal is smooth and mutually agreeable. Sometimes, however, sellers and buyers have major issues of trust as there are many buyers who have in the past made a habit of ripping off the manufacturers. Therefore, they have to be careful not to accept terms that will not be honored(Stop pays, no pays etc). The checks we have in place are more thorough and comprehensive than other listing services and, with photos of the product, the buyer can immediately determine if the item is what is desired. We make a concerted effort to prevent any abuse, but it is up to the buyer and seller of each individual lot to determine if doing the business makes sense.
